Welcome
The pre-school is set in a community centre with 2 large rooms, called the sunflower and poppy rooms, and a small room called the daisy room. The two larger rooms have direct access to the outdoors.
We have a lovely outdoor play area with large wooden climbing frame, a woodland area, role play house, swings, and sensory area. Children are encouraged to use the outdoors throughout the sessions providing them with enjoyable, interesting and stimulating experiences.
The Aim of our pre-school is:
- To provide a quality of care and education within a safe environment.
- To provide a stimulating atmosphere for all children including those with special needs.
- To provide a variety of activities and materials, including those that cannot be provided at home.
- To teach children to respect themselves and others.
- For children to use their lively inquisitive minds through encouragement.
- To help build on what he/she already knows and can do and help lay the foundation and knowledge for their future schooling.
- To play enjoy themselves and to have fun.
- For each child to have a key person, to ensure they make satisfactory progress.
- To work in partnership with parents, to help children learn and develop.
